Welcome to Sunset Rock RV Park and Campground, your ideal destination for an unforgettable camping experience in Isle La Motte, VT. Our park, owned by Vermont native Michael LaFromboise, spans 47 acres of beautifully maintained lawns, meadows, and woods. We offer 80 seasonal sites, including 6 RV sites with stone pads and full hookups, plus 5 additional RV sites with water and power. If you're looking for a more traditional camping experience, choose one of our 10 tent sites.

But that's just the beginning. For a touch of comfort in the wilderness, our three cozy cabin rentals await. Located near the bathhouse for easy access, these cabins come with a full-size bed, fresh clean bedding, two cots, and an outdoor charcoal grill - perfect for a family BBQ under the stars. When it's time to unwind, our amenities cater to your every need. Our on-site laundry house and drive-thru dumping station ensure your stay is as comfortable as it is adventurous. We also provide grill propane tanks, firewood, ice, and charcoal, all available for purchase.

Surrounded by water, Sunset Rock is a haven for kayaking, boating, and swimming. The island's picturesque landscape is ideal for biking and hiking enthusiasts. History lovers can explore local historic sites and museums, while golfers will enjoy the nearby 18-hole course, complete with a restaurant and craft beer. Located in Plainfield, Vermont, the Onion River Campground has a unique layout. Tree-lined sites along the river create a more social atmosphere than a conventional campground. There is beautiful nature here and the amenities you need. There is a great river access for fishing, swimming, tubing, and wading. If you are looking to escape to the great outdoors then this is the place for you.

Camping at Onion River is respectful, and kind, and we generally have loads of fun. Good people, gardens, walking trails, and picnic tables, are just a few of the things to look forward to. Open May-October. Check-in after 2 pm. Checkout at 12 pm. See you soon!

Horseshoe Acres Campground is a family and pet-friendly park, located near the Southern Region of the Green Mountains National Forest. We organize activities and events for campers of all ages and there is a lot to see and do in the surrounding community. Make our beautiful park your home base for all of your Vermont adventures.

One of our dreams has been to host a Music festival. This year our dream will be a reality despite all the challenges of 2023. Thanks to our amazing activity crew working so hard to put this together. For 2024 this is the main event!
