The campground clean and had great amenities. Most campsites had views of the lake. But site were close together and didn’t even have a picnic table. Big rig friendly in most site.

Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-in Procedure - RV site check-in is at 12 noon and check-out is at 11:00 am. - Check-in for cabin suites and glamping tents is 3:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. - Early departures for any reason are not eligible for refunds or credits of any kind. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Guests and Visitors - All guests & visitors must register at the RESORT OFFICE. - All visitors of registered guests are subject to a "DAILY AMENITY FEE" of $5.00 per day. - Each guest is responsible for all fuels stored on/in their RV and is responsible for damage to neighbors' RV if damaged by fuel storage. - Please do not give the SECURITY GATE CODE to anyone. - Have your visitors register at the RESORT OFFICE. - Maximum occupancy of each RV is at the discretion of management. - Please respect your NEIGHBORS in the park by not cutting through the site. - Campers are solely responsible for any injury or ACCIDENTS they are involved in. Quiet Hours - Quiet time begins at 10:00 p.m. - Nothing can be heard from your site/tent at another. - Excessive noise, nuisance, public drunkenness, nudity, and fireworks are not permitted. Reservation Fee - There is a “Reservation Fee” for making all reservations. - The amount of the “Reservation Fee” will depend on the type of unit you are renting. - A one-night stay for an RV site will be for the full amount of that site. - A longer RV stay will be a $50 “Reservation Fee”, and a Rental Accommodation will be a $100 “Reservation Fee”. - We will honor holding an RV campsite or Rental Accommodation for you based on your making a reservation. - The “Reservation Fee” is not refundable, not changeable, nor transferable. - The amount will apply to your reservation when you arrive. Payment Policy - All payments must be made by credit card or cash. - Checks are not accepted. Rates - Monthly rates are from Oct 1 - May 1. - Note that T7, T8 and T9 are configured as Buddy Sites. - Rates are subject to change without notice. Additional Charges and Fees - Pets: T15-T21, Tiny Home, the Lake Houses, and Cabin Suites 1 & 5 are pet friendly. - Add $25 for pets (2 max, 40 lbs max weight TOTAL). - Extra People: T17-T21 add $10/person/stay after 2 people. - Additional charges for electricity @ $.14/KWH, cable TV and internet connection. - 7% Florida Sales Tax and also a 2% Walton County Bed Tax. - We also have Pet Fees, Cleaning Fees, Damage Fees (equivalent to the repairs), Smoking Damage Fees (A minimum of $750.00) Monthly Electricity Fees, and Electric Vehicle Charging Fees. - Cleaning fees may be applied for rental units. Cleanliness - Campers are responsible for keeping their sites CLEAN. - Please do not throw cigarette butts or other trash on the ground. - Please place trash IN THE DUMPSTER, not on the top of the lid. - The DUMPSTER is located at the front of the park in the fenced area by the suites parking. - Please do not place food in the bathhouse trash cans or wash dishes in the bathhouse sinks. - Place ashes in the approved ash containers, not in the dumpster. Activity Center Policy - No glass containers allowed in pool areas, docks, or play areas. - No alcohol allowed on the pool deck. - Please do not go through the activity center with wet swimsuits to enter the bathhouse. - use the bathroom that has access from outside the front to the bathhouse. - This bathroom is also handicap accessible with BABY CHANGING STATION. - The Activity Center is for guests 16 and up (Children must be under direct supervision of an adult guardian). - The Activity Center is for our guests to use for small gatherings for billiard play, board games, TV, and family dinners. - Facility can be rented for a FEE for larger groups, meetings, banquets, reunions, weddings, birthday parties, and various celebrations. - Kitchen usage is for park functions unless rented for an event. - Please check with park management about the rental of the Activity Center. Golf Carts and Other Carts Policy - Golf Carts may be available from the office. - Lights are required for driving golf carts after dark. - Use pull carts and return them to the end of the Dam at the end of the stay. Lake and Pool Policy - Pool Hours are 8:00 AM to Dusk. - Swim at your own risk at the pool. - No lifeguards on duty. - NO SWIMMING IN THE LAKE, no paddleboards or inflatable float/boats. (Alligators & Snakes). Docks - Docks can be inherently dangerous. - There are life rings only at some of the main docks. - Children shall be accompanied by adults. Vehicle Policy - Riding of bicycles, scooters, skateboards, golf carts, ATVs, or ‘other’ to be determined by Twin Lakes Camp Resort Management is NOT PERMITTED AFTER DARK. - Operate all wheeled vehicles in a safe manner. - All golf carts, ATVs, and motorcycles shall be operated only by persons with a valid driver’s license. - Motorized vehicles shall follow all traffic rules and regulations and travel in the ONE-WAY direction as indicated by traffic signs. - Sleeping in Non-Camping vehicles is not permitted. Driving Policy - Drivers shall be self-insured. - No driving vehicles (Personal cars/trucks) on the dam ever ($500 fine). - No driving in grass or on sidewalks. Parking Rules - Park in designated parking areas only. - Put bicycles in bike racks. - All vehicles must be parked within your site or in the designated overflow parking. - Suite guests are allowed 2 parking spaces per suite. - Any additional parking will need to be in overflow parking designated by management. - Use temporary parking to Unload and Load. - Please park your RV and car/truck in your designated site only. - Remember your RV parking brake. - Don't back up or pull in too far on retaining wall sites. - If vehicles and trailers do not fit on your site they may have to be parked in overflow parking. - Ask the staff where to park boat trailers and additional vehicles. Speed Limit - Please obey the 5 MPH speed limit. Repair Policy - Auto & RV Repairs that are needed outside your RV must be approved by Twin Lakes Camp Resort management. - Some repairs will not be permitted on site (i.e. holding tanks, wheels, tires, oil changes). Fire Policy - Follow instructions on posts. - Never leave the fire unattended. - Always cover the pit if it rains when the fire is finished. - Do not dump ashes in the woods ever. - Use pale for ashes. - Do not put a fire pit near the woods. - Fires at your campsite are only permitted with the use of approved above-ground fire pits. Fire Pit Etiquette - Don’t use grate on fire unless you’re cooking. - Keep poker, shovel, and grate on the post when not in use. - Keep grate seasoned. - Always cover the fire pit when not in use with the Large Round Cover. - Do not remove this fire pit to another site. - It can be relocated on this site for use but not removed. - Never leave wet ashes in a fire pit. It turns to lye and ruins steel. - Empty ashes when they cool off into a bucket. - Empty the bucket into a large metal can by the dumpster. - Never put ashes into the dumpster, especially hot ashes. - It’s OK to use charcoal in a pit. - For cooking with an iron skillet, let wood coals burn down without flame. - A hot mitt is not provided. - Remember that the pit and implements can get very hot and can burn you. Please warn children to stay clear. - Enjoy! Pet Policy - Pets are allowed at all sites, however, they are not to be walked in the "GRASS PLAY AREAS" of the park. - Pets must be controlled at all times and kept on a leash. - Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. - Please look for our Pet Baggie STATIONS. - Pet owners are responsible for the behavior and safety of their pets. - Pets are not permitted in any building in the park or pool decks. - Pets are not to be left unattended outside or to be a nuisance inside by barking. Pet Rules and Agreement - We are glad you were able to bring your pet with you on this trip! And we hope you have a pleasant stay with us! However, not everyone has a pet or cares to be around others’ pets. For these reasons, we ask you to observe these conditions: - I do hereby indemnify, hold harmless, and release Twin Lakes Camp Resort and all related parties from all causes of action, claims, lawsuits, and demands of any kind made by any guest or third party as a result of any actions of my pet(s). - In addition, if any action is brought as a result of any action of my pet(s), Twin Lakes Camp Resort will immediately notify me of the claim and demand indemnification for all costs arising from the claim, including attorney fees, from me, the pet owner. - Service dogs are subject to the same rules and fees as non-service pets without discrimination. - Not to take my pet in any buildings other than rental units that are specified as “pet friendly”. - Pets in “pet-friendly” suites are to be no more than 2 pets under 40 lbs. and are subject to a fee. - Not to leave my pet outside unattended. - To pick up after my pet and dispose of my pet waste properly. - I will not leave it or bury it. - I will look for one of the two Mutt Mitt stations in order to dispose properly. - To keep my pet on a leash at all times, including while on my campsite. - To keep my pet from being a nuisance or hazard to others. - I declare that my pet(s) has never shown a vicious nature and has never bitten anyone. - As a guest, I do hereby register my pet(s) as being under my care and take full responsibility for their actions. Tent Sites Pet Policy - Medium to small dogs allowed (limit 40 lbs. or 2 dogs). - Any dog with a history or behavior of aggression will not be permitted. - All park rules for dogs shall be followed. - Not to be left unattended at any time unless in a crate in the tent, not barking. - No dogs are allowed on people's beds at any time. Tent Policy Buddy Sites - T7, T7a, T8, T8a, T9, and T9a are buddy sites. T-13 & T-14 Glamping Tents Rules and Inclusion - Units T-13 & T-14 glamping tents are perfect for 2 adults only (no children or pets please). - These tents are canvas cottages with beautiful wooden floors from repurposed semi-truck flooring. - The full-size bath is complete with an ironclaw foot tub for relaxing after a long day of fishing or kayaking. - The king-size bed and claw foot tub have a spectacular view of the lakes through the front screen flaps – so whether you are relaxing in bed or soaking in the tub we bring the outdoors into you. - If you need a little more privacy, the front entrance also has a canvas flap that can be used. - Microwave - Refrigerator - Keurig Coffee Maker – don’t forget your K Packs for morning coffee (or you can purchase them at A’lure Boutique Campstore) - TV (for your convenience) T-15 through T-21 Rules and Inclusion - T-15 through T-21 are Eco Tents from Australia. - They have a great view of the lake with plenty of privacy set in the tree line on the other side of the dam. - Three of them are situated atop the hill made for little kids to roll down into the full acre of Zoysia grass. - The second set is midway up the hill with plenty of privacy and the third set is secluded down the path on the water's edge of Holley Lake. - Each of the Eco Tents has different arrangements of bunk beds and shower arrangements. - Running Water - Sinks - Toilets - Small Fridge - Microwaves - Fire Pits with Cooking Grills - Large Cooler for Drinks - Picnic Tables - Air Conditioner/Heaters. We do not monitor this. - Parents are fully responsible for the behavior and safety of their CHILDREN. Illegal Activities - No Open Carry' Firearms while fishing (private property). - Smoking is not permitted inside any building in the park, nor within 25' of the doorway. - Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the pool area or in park buildings. - All other times alcohol must be discreetly packaged in a cup or coozie and drunkenness is not permitted. - Please secure your coolers at night if they contain alcoholic beverages. Boat Launch and Boat Trailer Policy - Only registered guests of the campground are allowed to launch a boat from Twin Lakes Camp Resort boat ramps. - Boat must be launched and vehicle and trailer must be moved to designated parking. - Only electric motors are allowed to be used on or near our access to Holley or King Lake. - Anyone over the age of 16 must have a Florida Freshwater Fishing License to fish from a bank or boat. Water Policy - Screw-in type hose fittings are required by Florida State Law. - If you do not have one, you may purchase at the Resort Office Store. - Absolutely no DUMPING of gray water or black water on the ground. - Use of WATER at campsites for non-potable services, such as washing of vehicles, is prohibited by state water authorities. Clotheslines Policy - Clotheslines are permitted behind your unit only. - Do not use trees to hang clotheslines or hammocks. Drink Cooler Rules - No Fish in the drink cooler (smell can’t be removed, if you do you must purchase a cooler). Vending - All vending from your site, including but not limited to yard sales and home business activity must be approved by management. Outdoor - Outdoor games and play equipment are for use by our guests FREE of charge. - Please feel free to use the outdoor play equipment but return to the store porch when you have finished using it. Damages - Twin Lakes Camp Resort is not responsible for any damages or theft incurred to your property during your stay. Safety Precaution - Be cautious of the natural environmental dangers. Site Change and Request - Some sleeping arrangements can be moved. - Every effort will be made to honor site requests. - We reserve the right to change your site under extenuating circumstances. Utilities & Cable TV Channels - Guidelines concerning the use of Water, Sewer, Cable, Wi-Fi, and Electricity while staying at TLC Resort are included below along with a listing of available Cable TV Channels. Water - Keep some water in your tank in case of temporary water outages. - Due to water restrictions auto & RV washing is not permitted. - Remember that it is a privilege to have abundant high-quality water so please help us conserve it. - Hydrants are freeze-free, however, hoses are not so please close the valve and disconnect if there is a freeze warning. Sewer - ‘Screw-in’ type connections are required on sewer hoses. - We are on a septic system with pumps, therefore, PLEASE No “Wipes” of any kind are to be put in the sewer. - Never put used oil or grease down the drain. - Please cap the sewer when not in use. - Never drain “Grey Water” on the ground. - There is not a “Dump Station” so remember to drain at your site. Electricity - If your breaker trips, before you call for a service call check and see how many amps you are pulling. - See the Chart here and add up the Amperage being used. - NEC (National Electrical Code) allows for 80% usage of the breaker maximum for continuous use (over 3 minutes). - A loose ground in any RV appliance can cause “Hot Skin” (shocking touch to the outside of the RV). Call if you need any assistance. - In a long-term Power outage by Chelco come to the office if you have medical needs for electricity. Wifi - Wi-Fi is a convenient technology for staying connected. - Its speed is subject to traffic on the internet, shared bandwidth, weather, the strength of connecting devices (computers are stronger than phones/tablets), Distance to source (200′ for small devices without any interference), RV walls/wiring, line of sight and other factors. - Remember that wifi is an “Indoor” application being used in “Outdoors”. - It is not designed for streaming (Video and games). - You may be kicked off for streaming! - If you need enough bandwidth for a business application then consult your “Commercial Data Provider”. - Troubleshooting Tips: Confirm password, move closer to Wi-Fi source, find direct line of site to source, restart equipment. - Terms of service: Guests are liable for what they do. Pirating movies, music, and other illegal activity will be reported to the FCC. TV Line Up - If your cable is not working properly as soon as you hook it up try the following: - Check your "Cable/Satellite" Switch. - Auto Program All Channels (Each TV in RV). This resolves most issues. - Follow onscreen instructions on your TV. - Be sure the coax cable is hooked tightly outside the RV to "cable" not "satellite". - TV Menu-check the TV's "mode/input" (i.e., TV, video, auxiliary). Terms & Agreement - All park rules need to be followed. - When someone stays at TLC Resort, they are asked to agree to the following policy to ensure everyone who stays with us has a relaxing and enjoyable vacation: - I agree to rent the assigned land site for the specified number of days at the active rate upon my arrival. - I agree to abide by park rules and regulations and to observe the posted speed limits. - Failure to do so will, at the discretion of Twin Lakes Camp Resort management, be a sufficient reason for eviction from the premises. - I understand and agree that Twin Lakes is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury to any person, vehicle, or other personal property. - I acknowledge that my stay is subject to Florida Statutes 513.114, 513.121, and 513.13. - By requesting that a reservation be made or by my signature on my payment receipt, I agree to the stated policy and understand that there will be NO REFUNDS other than under the conditions described herein. - Please observe these rules and most importantly, let us be reminded of the GOLDEN RULE: - "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Cancellation Policy

FLEXIBLE If the guest cancels at least 3 days before their check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 3 days before check-in, there will be no refund.
