Rules

Registration and Arrival Check-In Procedure - Check-in time: 3 pm - Check-out time: 11 am - IMPORTANT: When you receive the vehicle pass at the ranger station, it will say check-out is at 1 pm. - Please note that this only applies to RV/regular tent camping. - Glamping sites check-out is strictly 11 m. - If you plan to arrive late, please call us prior to 5 p.m. on the day of your arrival for the gate code (have your site number ready for reservation verification). - Guests entering the park after hours when park staff is not available must be registered as soon as practical, but not later than the next morning by 10:00 a.m. - No one under 18 years of age may camp unless accompanied by a responsible adult who will remain on-site for the entire reservation - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Wildlife Notice - Please be aware that your glamping experience is in an outdoor environment with abundant wildlife around you. - This means you may encounter animals such as but not limited to deer, owls, raccoons, squirrels, alligators, etc. - While the campground environment is very safe, we ask that our guests do not under any circumstance feed the wildlife or leave any food, trash, crumbs, leftovers, etc., lying around outside and on picnic tables. - Not only is feeding wildlife in violation of State Park rules, but this will attract rodents, especially squirrels and raccoons. - Keep food and trash properly secured and be sure to properly secure your tent at all times. - Also, please be mindful that March/early April is caterpillar season in Florida. - This means caterpillars are falling from trees and are very abundant all around the glamping sites, and you will encounter a ton of them. Fire Policy - Please note absolutely no candles or open flames are allowed inside the tent due to a fire hazard. - Please note there will be an extra fee of $150 if candles are brought into the tent. In addition, any permanent stains on either bedding or tent canvas that do not come off may be applicable to an extra cleaning charge. Children Policy - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Pets Policy - Notice Dog Owners: While we are a dog-friendly business, please note that it is the owner's responsibility to make sure that your dogs are leashed at all times and behave properly towards all guests. - Anyone with a dog who is overly aggressive or is left off leash and presents a danger may be asked to leave if they do not comply and no refund will be issued. - Dog owners are 100% liable for their dog biting anyone at the park. - Timberline Glamping must be notified in advance prior to your stay of all pets. - Failure to do so will result in a $150.00 fine. - Pets must be kept on a leash not exceeding 10 feet in length. - Pets are not allowed in restrooms, playground areas, shelters, or designated swim areas. - Pets shall not be left unattended in any Timberline Glamping accommodation unless properly created. - The guest is financially responsible for all damage caused by their pets. - All pets must be confined, leashed, or otherwise under the physical control of a person at all times. - Leashes may not exceed six feet in length. - This rule does not apply to horses and pack animals brought in for equestrian trail use. - Pets must be well-behaved at all times. - In campgrounds, pets must be confined in the owner's camping unit during designated quiet time hours, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. - At other times, pets may be left unattended on the owner's campsite for no more than 30 minutes and must be leashed. - Pet owners are required to pick up after their pets and properly dispose of all pet droppings in trash receptacles. - Pets that are noisy, vicious, dangerous, disturbing, or intimidating to other persons or pets, or that damage park resources, are considered to be nuisances and will not be permitted to remain in the park. - We love our furry Glampers! - Just let us know ahead of time. - There is a $45 Pet Cleaning Fee That is charged to each guest bringing dogs if we are notified ahead of time. Risks - Please understand and acknowledge that glamping involves certain inherent risks and uncertainties, including but not limited to: Wildlife Encounters - The presence of wild animals, insects, and plants in their natural habitat may pose risks, including bites, stings, or allergic reactions. Weather Conditions - Glamping exposes participants to varying weather conditions such as extreme temperatures, rain, wind, and storms, which can lead to discomfort or injury. Terrain and Conditions - Uneven terrain, slippery surfaces, and natural obstacles like rocks, roots, and fallen branches can increase the risk of falls, sprains, or other injuries. Equipment Malfunction - Failure or misuse of camping equipment, including tents, cooking stoves, and tools, may cause injury or harm. Damage/Injury - By booking a reservation, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with glamping activities. - You release Timberline Glamping Hillsborough River and its agents and employees from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death resulting from these risks. Check-in instructions - Address: 15402 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 - Please note sometimes it’s better to punch "Hillsborough River State Park" into your GPS as the address may take you to the back gate instead of the main gate. Suggestions on what to bring - firewood/fire starter/matches/lighter/charcoal for the grills, cooking/eating utensils, toiletries, towels, garbage bags, bug spray/sunscreen, and extra flashlights. - The Ranger station does sell ice and firewood but it is cash only. The bundle of firewood is 8$ per bundle. - Please note we do not offer firewood as an add-on option. Parking - Arrive at the ranger station at the park entrance. - Provide your name and let them know you have a reservation with Timberline Glamping. - You will get a vehicle sticker. - Once you get your sticker, follow the one-way road until you get to parking lot 4 (they are all labeled with signs). - After you pass lot 4, the campground is the first turn on the right, and it is labeled. - You will pass sites with regular tent camping and RV. - Glamping sites are located on sites 19-25. - Follow the signs for your site number which is in your confirmation e-mail. - You can park right at your site and your tent will be ready for you at 3 pm. - If you arrive and there is no one at the ranger station, you can continue on to your campground and tent, but be sure to return back to the ranger station the next morning for your vehicle pass. - Also, if you plan to arrive late, let us know so we can send you the gate code for the main gate as it closes after sunset. - Parking is at the discretion of park staff and is limited to no more than two vehicles per campsite. - Additional vehicles may be required to park in designated areas Smoking - Smoking is prohibited in Timberline Glamping accommodations as well as the campsite. - If there is odor from any tobacco product the guest agrees to pay $750.00 (charged to the card on file) for smoking in or around the Timberline Glamping accommodations. Garbage - Garbage should be deposited at the dumpsters on your way out of the park. Failure to do so could result in a $50 fine. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 11 p.m. until 7 a.m. - Unreasonable or excessive noise at any time is prohibited. - Noise should not be carried beyond the visitor’s campsite or cabin during quiet time. Gate Policy - The park gate closes at sunset.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
