Rules

Check-In Procedure - Check-in is at 1 pm. - Check-out is 12 pm. - Check-in for cabin is 3 pm and check-out is 12 pm. - If your campsite is not occupied or reserved, you may come as early as you like and stay as late as you want. - No additional charge. - If another camper is checking in on your campsite on your departure day, you are welcome to park your camper near the office and enjoy the rest of the day, please plan with the office. - The registration office opens at 9 am. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Rules for Transient and Seasonal Campsites Pet Policy - Please note our pet policies under #1. - For the safety of our campers, dogs found to be aggressive are not welcome and will be immediately removed from the campground. - Maximum two dogs per site. - Barking dogs will not be tolerated. - All pets are allowed to enter or remain in the campground at management’s discretion. - Loud pets are not welcome. Birds, Exotic, vicious, or dangerous pets/animals are not allowed in the campground. - Any dog or cat that bites or attacks anyone will immediately be removed from the campground. - Your guests are not permitted to bring pets and will be denied entry if they bring an animal. - Your pet's droppings must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in a tied-up plastic bag. - Pets must be attended to and always kept under control by a responsible person. - Your pets must always keep quiet and must not bother neighboring campers. - Pets are not to be left outside, unattended and must be kept inside your camper after 11 pm. - No ropes or leashes are to be tied to trees or shrubs. - It is mandatory that you always keep your pet on a leash. - The leash cannot be longer than five feet. - No pets allowed on or near the beach, playground, or recreation areas. - Pets are not allowed to be in restrooms, showers, recreation rooms, or swimming areas. - Dogs must have current rabies vaccination tags always displayed on their collars. Extended Stays - If you wish to extend your stay, please come into the office before 12 pm on your checkout date to renew. - If your campsite has no prior reservations, we will gladly extend your stay. Entrance Security - The entrance gate will be closed and locked when the office is closed. - If you need to enter after office hours, you are required to have a gate access card. - You are strictly prohibited from allowing anyone to use your gate card for the purpose of allowing your guests to enter the campground to avoid paying the guest visitors fee. - Any violation of this policy will result in your gate card being taken from you and your deposit will not be refunded. - Any gate access cards lost or not turned back will result in a $20 fee being charged to the credit card on file. Camping License - You occupy your campsite space under a revocable license. - Management reserves the right to revoke this license at any time without a refund for conduct that the management believes jeopardizes the safety of other campers and/or is harmful to the proper operation of the campground. Transient Campsite Use - The campsite is for the use of the camper's primary family with two adults/parents and dependent, unmarried children (under age 21) still living at home. - If the campsite is occupied or being used, one of the primary registered campers, 21 years or older, must be present. Age Requirement - Campers MUST be 21 to rent a campsite. - ID required for all campers. - Management reserves the right to refuse admittance. Campsite Location - You must stay at the campsite selected at check-in unless officially changed in the office. Campsite Parking - Your RV’s tongue/front must be facing the road. - This is a local fire department ordinance requirement. Reservation Deposit - Required to guarantee site availability. - Your deposit will be refunded in full if you cancel within seven days prior to your arrival date. - Any non-refundable deposits can be applied to future camping. - Full payment is required for Halloween and holiday weekends. Office Hours - Monday through Thursday 9 AM – 6 PM, Friday-Saturday 9 AM - 9 PM, Sunday 9 AM – 5 PM. - Please note: The office/store opening and closing times will vary before Memorial Day weekend and after Labor Day, hours will be posted on bulletin boards at the restroom building and on office doors. Call For Assistance - If you need assistance please call the office at (517) 546-2679 after store/office hours please use the outside telephone on the office wall facing Burkhart Rd. or the phone on the front of the recreation building. - There is a list of contact numbers on the inside of the phone box door. - Call Alan Taylor at (586) 489-0360. Help Line - Please follow directions and treat all campground staff and security with respect. - If you have an issue that you don't feel has been addressed or solved properly by the campground employees, please call the General Manager at (586) 546-2679 for an immediate solution during business hours. Emergency - In an emergency, contact the General Manager at 517-546-2679 or call 911. - You may also contact Alan Taylor at (586) 489-0360. Guests and Visitors - All guests must come into the office and be identified and registered. - Entering without registering will be considered trespassing on private property and you will be subject to immediate removal and prosecution. - Campers are responsible for their guests. - Guests must pay the current entrance fee per person, per day/night. - Children, ages two and under, will be admitted for free. - Overnight or seasonal campers caught assisting their guests to enter the campground without paying and registering, will risk having their camping license revoked. - All daily visitor guests must be out of the campground by 10:30 pm. - No guests will be permitted into the campground after 9:00 pm unless they stay overnight. - Daytime non-camping visitors must exit the campground promptly by 8 pm. - Camper visitors must exit the campground promptly by 10:30 pm unless the $5 overnight camping fee has been paid prior to office closing hours, the visitor’s car pass must be displayed with the date facing outward from the rearview mirror. Parking Policy - Please Park on your own campsite. - Only one car is permitted per site. - Additional guest parking is available in designated parking areas. - All vehicles, including your guests, are required to display an entrance pass in clear view. - Additional vehicles will be permitted to unload and drop off passengers at your campsite. - Campers on sites #57 through 61 are permitted to park as close as possible alongside the split rail fence next to the picnic area. Property Damage - Property damage to our campground is cause for IMMEDIATE EVICTION. - Malicious and willful destruction in any part of the campground will be grounds for eviction and prosecution. - Management reserves the right to have anyone vacate the campground at any time. - Many of our rules fall under our strict, no-tolerance policy and if violated, you will be instructed to leave without a refund. Profanity, Disturbance, and Theft - Decent language is always required. - Foul language and/or loud obnoxious behavior shall not be permitted. - Anyone who is creating a disturbance or caught stealing will be instructed to leave the campground and may be subject to legal prosecution. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 9 am and are strictly enforced! - Strict 11 pm quiet hour. - No parties between these hours, please! Noisy campers are never welcome. - Quiet means surrounding campsites cannot hear you. - Outside radios/speakers/TVs must be turned off! - Musical instruments may not be played. Loud Items - Generators are not to be run at any time with the exception of a power outage. - Log splitters and chain saws are not permitted in the campground. Campers and RVs - Campers/RVs must be kept at least a minimum of four feet away from the electric pedestal, storage shed, and existing campers. - Only one camper is allowed per campsite. - Camper/RV tongue/hitch must be facing toward the road; this is a fire ordinance requirement. Children Policy - Kids must return to campsites by 10:30 pm. - Must be 21 years or older to rent campsites. - No minors without adults on the premises. - Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children's behavior and actions at all times. - Please ensure they understand and comply with all rules and policies. - Children are not allowed to be alone in the campground without a parent or guardian. - Children and teenagers must be on their site from 10:30 pm (curfew) to 8 am with adult supervision. - Exceptions include special entertainment events, staying overnight at a friend's campsite, or being accompanied by an adult. - Please be aware and know where your parents/children and their friends are at all times. - Do not allow them to run through occupied campsites, between campers, or to play in the restrooms. - To ensure your children's safety, we ask that you are always aware of your children’s activities. Clothing - Proper clothing suitable for a family campground needs to be always worn. - Thong bathing suits are not permitted. - No shirt, no shoes, no service in the camp store. Swimming Policy - Beach/swimming closes at sunset. - Absolutely no swimming after dark or across the lake. - Swim at your own risk. - No Lifeguard on duty. - No diving. - An adult must accompany children 12 and under while swimming. - Water raft limited to a maximum of 10 people, no rocking swim raft or water slide (shallow swim area water slide limited to ages 12 and under only). - Only one person is allowed on a water slide at a time, no standing on the water slide platform. - Fishing: Fishing is not permitted in the swimming area by the beach. - Boats/Outboard Motors: Boats are not permitted in the swimming areas or in front of the beach. - Rental boats are provided; campers are not allowed to bring their own boats or personal watercraft into the campground area. - Outboard motors over 15 horsepower are not permitted on row boats. - Boats cannot be used within 75 feet of the swimming/raft area. - All boats must be off the lake before dark. Messages - We will only deliver emergency messages. Speed Limit - Drive slowly! The campground speed limit is 5 mph. - Remember children are at play. - Please keep a minimum distance of 20 feet away from campers, bikes, rental pedal carts, and golf carts. Vehicle Policy - We ask that you walk and try to avoid driving your vehicle throughout the campground. - No cruising the campground. - Remember children are playing. - Driving in the campground after 11 pm is not permitted except for newly registered campers going to their campsite for set-up, campground employees, or in an emergency. - All golf carts and scooters must be returned to your campsite prior to 11 pm. - Day and overnight guests are not permitted to bring or operate any unlicensed motorized vehicles in the campground. Bicycles or Riding Toys - Bicycles and riding toys are not allowed to be ridden after dark. - Do not ride or walk on or through occupied or vacant campsites. - Please keep a distance of a minimum of 20 feet away from cars and campers. Prohibited Items - Firearms/weapons, drugs, marijuana, and fireworks are strictly prohibited! - Pellets, paintball, BB guns, bows and arrows, gas-engine golf carts, gas-engine scooters, mini-bikes, mopeds, go-carts, or ATVs are not permitted in the campground. Motorcycles - Motorcycles are not permitted in the campground unless you are a seasonal camper. Joy Riding - Joy riding on campground property is not permitted. - All vehicles, including golf carts, may be driven only on campground roads. Clotheslines - Clotheslines are prohibited. - Do not attach/nail anything to our trees or shrubs. Commercial Business Operation - This is a campground and commercial business is not permitted. Alcohol Policy - You MUST be 21 to drink alcohol in the campground. - Please keep in mind that this is a family campground. - Drunken behavior will not be tolerated. - Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in any campground buildings. - No drinking permitted while in the water or on water recreation equipment. - Please keep glass bottles on your own campsite. Campfire -The campground store has firewood for sale. Michigan law prohibits you from bringing in your own firewood unless you can show proof that it came from Livingston County. - We will require the name, address, and phone number of the property owner where the firewood was acquired. - Firewood must be stacked neatly and kept five feet away from campers or sheds. - Do not cut wood from any of our trees or bushes. - Outside wood is prohibited. - Wood-burning fires are only allowed in designated pits please do not move fire rings unless necessary. - Please confine your fire to the fire pit area only. - Do not build a fire in any grassy area. - Fires must be attended to at all times and remember to put your fire out completely before you go to bed or leave your campsite. - Please do not burn garbage. Trash Policy - All garbage must be tied up in plastic bags and deposited in the bulk refuse dumpsters located on the north side of the main entrance driveway. - If the dumpster is full please don't overfill, use the next available dumpster to avoid trash bags falling on the ground. - Please do not leave your garbage on the ground next to the dumpsters or outside at your campsite. - We will not dispose of your large items, BBQ grills, or refrigerators. - Please do not put any hot coals or any burning items in the dumpsters or trash barrels. - Do not place lawn waste or tree branches in the dumpsters. - See management for instructions. Restrooms - Please help us keep them sparkling clean. - Do not leave paper towels or toilet paper on the floor. - No dishwashing, clothes washing, or foot washing in sinks. - Please don't go into the restroom/shower building to wash off beach sand; it really makes a mess and is very bad for the septic system. - Please use the heated outdoor beach shower located at the end of the split rail fence on the east side of the beach. - Pets and smoking are prohibited in the restrooms. - No dumping port-a-potties in restroom toilets; use the dump station near the office. - No wet bathing suits in restrooms or buildings; please dry off prior to entering. - Accompany and stay with all children 7 and under using the restrooms or showers. Smoking Policy - No smoking is permitted in the office/store, recreation game room building, the Port-AJohns, or restrooms. - Do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground or beach. - Dispose of it properly. - This inconsiderate practice can burn a camper's bare feet and make our beautiful campground look like a nasty ashtray. Cleanliness. - Trash on the ground and in the lake looks very unattractive to you and other campers. - We are very proud to provide you with clean and attractive surroundings. - Please help the Taylor's Beach Campground one of Michigan's most beautiful campgrounds. - Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Recreation Building - For your family's protection and ours, this building is being video recorded 24 hours a day. - The game room is being monitored at the campground office. - No hanging out on the building balcony or around the restroom building after 10:30 pm. - The laundry facility has the same hours as the office. - The recreation room opens between 9-9:30 am and closes between 10-10:30 pm. - Recreation room hours may vary, if closed, contact the office at (517) 546 - 2679. Sports and Games Equipment - We will provide equipment for your use at no charge. - Your driver's license or a deposit will be required until the equipment is returned to the office. - You will be responsible for the replacement cost if the equipment is not returned or is damaged. Bike Rentals - All rental equipment is required to be returned to the office 1/2 hour prior to closing hours. - Any rough use of rental equipment, even if not damaged, will result in the loss of deposit. - If rental isn't returned on time, the additional usage time will be deducted from your deposit. - Rental damages are not limited to your security deposit; you're responsible for all repair costs caused by misuse. - Please keep rentals a minimum of 20 feet away from cars and campers. Halloween Weekend Safety - Cars, golf carts, scooters, fun bike pedal carts, or bikes are not allowed to be used in the campground during trick or treating. - Please check with the office or check the bulletin board on the recreation building for times. Playground, Beach, and Docks - No hanging out on the playground, beach, picnic tables, or docks after 10:30 pm. Holding Tanks - Holding tanks may be discharged at dump stations located on the south side of the exit driveway. - There is no charge for this service. Horseshoes - Horseshoes are not permitted on transient campsites. - Please use designated horseshoe pits located across from site number 188. Picnic Tables - Only one table per campsite. - If additional tables are required for your guests, please contact the office. - If we have extra tables available, we will do our best to provide one for you. Gray or Black Water - Do not drain directly on the ground or into the stream, pond, or lake. - Please use a suitable closed/sealed container and dispose of your gray water at the dump station. - We provide a mobile pump-out service to your campsite for a fee ($20.00 for 1 tank or $25 for 2 or more). - The use of proper toilet chemicals is required for the pump-out machine to operate properly. - Chemicals are sold at the camp store. RV and Tent Sites Policy - One RV and One Vehicle per site. - Parking is limited please inquire if parking for more than one vehicle is required. - Visitors $7 per day or $14 per night per person. - Any guests visiting for the day must arrive within office hours, check-in, and get a vehicle pass in the office first. - Any vehicles found in visitor parking without parking passes are subject to being towed. - To avoid guests having to pay when they arrive please set up a pass and pay for them in advance. - The campsite fee includes immediate family, husband, wife, significant other, and dependent children living at home. - No Aggressive Breeds. - Well-behaved dogs are welcome and must always be kept on a leash and cleaned up after. - Dog waste bags have been provided for your convenience. - Max 2 dogs per site. - If other campers complain about your pets or if the site exceeds the amount without the manager's approval you’ll be asked to take the pets home. - No Golf Carts. Rental Cabins and Campers Policy - No pets allowed in rentals. - If you show up with pets without a manager’s approval you will be asked to take them home before checking in. - Parking is limited please inquire if parking for more than one vehicle is required. - Each rental has a maximum limit of persons allowed to stay in that rental. - If persons staying in rental exceed that amount an additional $12 per person per night will be issued. - Additional tents put up on site are subject to additional cost, please check with the office before setting up. - Visitors are $7 per person per day and $14 per person per night. - Any guests visiting for the day must arrive within office hours, check-in, and get a vehicle pass in the office first. - Any vehicles found in visitor parking without parking passes are subject to being towed. - To avoid guests having to pay when they arrive please set up a pass and pay for them in advance. - Breaking any rules and/or leaving rentals trashed or damaged with result in loss of a $100 security deposit. - Rental Cabins & Campers are not fully stocked. - Please call our office for more information on what to bring. Payment Policy - A payment of 100% of the reservation is required at the time of booking. - Advanced payments made online are always paid by credit card. - By providing credit card numbers you are authorizing Premier Campgrounds to bill your credit card for the full amount of the reservation, including any cost accrued while at the property and outstanding balances not paid 15 days before check-in and/or after checkout. - When making final payment, no checks are accepted. Change Policy - No service charges are applied for changes to this reservation. - Information and policies are subject to change without notice. Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
