Rules

-While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. -Fees include Wi-Fi, swimming & fishing. No fishing license is necessary for the lake. Bloody Run Trout Stream license and trout stamp required. (Iowa State Stocked). -Quiet Time from 10 PM-8 AM along with normal consideration for others. 11 PM all visitors must depart. -Check-in/out 1 PM campsites, 3:30 PM cabins/Check-out 11 AM. *Call day of to check on the possibility of early check-in time based on if the cabin is ready -No smoking allowed in cabins (violators will be charged $250) *Non-refutable, determined by the cabin manager -Electric Vehicle Policy- All EVs require pre-approval via phone or email and are only allowed in very specific sites (99, 96, 95, 94, 93, 92, and 91). EVs at these sites will require an additional $15 per night added to the reservation (regardless of electric use). EVs are not allowed anywhere else in the campground (may park in guest parking only). Failure to follow EV policy may result in guests being removed from the campground without a refund. -Dogs only allowed in (Lakeview #1, and Woodland #1) See pet policy for more details. -All guests of campers/cabins must pay for swimming/fishing. -Pets must always be supervised and never left alone-even if tied; they are not allowed in the swimming area or the beach area. -Do not move fire rings or have fires in areas not specified for fires. -NO LARGE AREA RUGS ALLOWED AT CAMPSITES (ANYTHING LARGER THAN DOORMAT NOT ALLOWED) -Hammocks with stand-alone stand only, no tree hanging hammocks allowed -Speed limit in the campground is 5 MPH. -Spook Cave and Campground assume no responsibility for transmission of any illness related to but not limited to COVID-19. All visitors assume full responsibility for their health and well-being while on-premises or as a result of your visit to our premises. Guest acknowledges and agrees to assume all risk and damages associated with participating in public activities while on-premises. All visitors are required to abide by any onsite rules related to this issue, failure to do so can result in immediate eviction without refund or possibility of return. Be Safe and Have Fun. -Prices are subject to change without notice. All rates are subject to Federal and Local taxes. Holiday rates apply. -DRIFTLESS CAVE AND CAMPGROUND LLC. “SPOOK CAVE AND CAMPGROUND RELEASE, INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT -In consideration of participating in campground activities, and for other good and valuable consideration, I hereby agree to release and discharge from liability arising from negligence at Spook Cave and Campground and its owners, directors, officers employees, agents, volunteers, participants, and all other persons or entities acting for them (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Releasees”), on behalf of myself and my children, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate, and also agree as follows: -I acknowledge that participating in campground activities involves known and unanticipated risks which could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis or permanent disability, death, and property damage. Risks include, but are not limited to, broken bones, torn ligaments or other injuries as a result of falls; burns from campfires; drowning in pools or other bodies of water; falls from play equipment or caused by uneven surfaces; medical conditions resulting from physical activity; and damaged clothing or other property. I understand such risks simply cannot be eliminated, despite the use of safety equipment, without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity. - I expressly accept and assume all of the risks inherent in this activity or that might have been caused by the negligence of the Releasees. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary and I elect to participate despite the risks. In addition, if at any time I believe that event conditions are unsafe or that I am unable to participate due to physical or medical conditions, then I will immediately discontinue participation. - I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity, or my use of their equipment or facilities, arising from negligence. This release does not apply to claims arising from intentional conduct. Should Releasees or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. - I represent that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may suffer or cause while participating in this activity, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself. I further represent that I have no medical or physical condition which could interfere with my safety in this activity, or else I am willing to assume – and bear the costs of – all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. -In the event that I file a lawsuit, I agree to do so solely in the state where Releasees’ facility is located, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply. -I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. By signing this document, I agree that if I am hurt or my property is damaged during my participation in this activity, then I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against the parties being released on the basis of any claim for negligence. -I also represent that I have adequate insurance to cover all personal property that I have placed, brought, or stored at Driftless Cave and Campground LLC. (doing business as Spook Cave and Campground) to include, but not limited to vehicles, campers, UTVs, golf carts, and all other personal belongings. If I do not opt to carry such coverage, I agree to bear the costs of any damage to my personal belongings myself. I am willing to assume and bear the costs of all risks that may be created by directly or indirectly having my personal belongings placed on or at the property of Driftless Cave and Campground LLC. (doing business as Spook Cave and Campground). -I have had sufficient time to read this entire document and, should I choose to do so, consult with legal counsel prior to submitting payment, which acts as my electronic signature. I have read and understood this document and I agree to be bound by its terms.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
