Maple Park Campground
Located at 290 Glen Charlie Road in East Wareham, Massachusetts, Maple Park Cape Cod is centrally located before the bridges and Cape Cod traffic. Maple Park Camping Resort features 515 campsites on 600 acres of beautiful woodlands, many overlooking our swimming and fishing ponds or cranberry bogs.
For your security and peace of mind, the only public entrance to the Resort is our main 24 Hour Security Gate. We have an electric gate operated by a Gate Card. We take a $10.00 deposit on each card. The deposit is refunded when you turn the card in as you depart. Your campground pass must be hung from your rearview mirror and easily visible to enter through the front gate.
Free and Clean Shower and Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the Resort. We offer a propane filling service at our convenient Propane Filling Station.
Our on-site Laundromat is open all season for your convenience with token-operated washers and dryers. Tokens are purchased in the Maple Park General Store.

Check-In Procedure

- Minimum Check In Age is 21 Years Old.
- Guests aged 18 Years Old and under at the time of check-in are considered children.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Arrival Policy
- For late arrival arrangements, please contact our Reservation Department at 1-508-295-4945.
- If a guest wishes to arrive earlier than 1 p.m. and their site is vacant, they must confirm with the office prior to arrival.
- All premature arrivals will be charged 50% of the daily rate, or $5 per hour (whichever is least expensive).
- Campers planning to enter the park after midnight are asked to notify the office ahead of time.
Extended Stay Policy
- To extend your stay please check at the office by 10 a.m., late stays will be charged 50% of their daily rate and may stay at the campground until 7 p.m.
Reservation Policy
- A two-night minimum is required; there is a 3-5 night minimum for all Holiday Weekends and Christmas in July.
- You must be 21 years or older to reserve a campsite and camp at our campground.
Visitors Policy
- Guest hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- All visitors must register at the office.
- Visitors are NOT allowed to bring pets.
Cars Policy
- Car passes must be visible at all times. - Every vehicle must be registered and have a car pass.
- Vehicles without car passes displayed may be towed at the owner's expense.
- Sites with unregistered guests will be asked to leave the park.
- Please check our price list for applicable fees.
Campsite Policy
- Each campsite may be occupied by one family: two adults and two children (18 & under).
- They may have one principal camping unit, that is, one tent, pop-up trailer, travel trailer, or R.V.
- Two vehicles per site.
- There is a maximum of 2 vehicles per campsite!
- Vehicles must be registered!
- Do your best to pick up before checking out so that others may enjoy a clean park.
Cleanliness Policy
- In some cases, campers leaving a messy site may be charged a cleaning fee of $50.00.
Picnic Table/Fire Ring Policy
- One picnic table and fire ring is included with every campsite.
- Please check at the office if you wish for either one to be relocated.
Outdoor Appliances Policy
- We do not allow electric heaters or outdoor appliances (refrigerators, electric grills, toasters, etc.) to be used.
Trees Policy
- Do not tie, hang, nail, or fasten any objects from trees.
- No clotheslines, chains, or lanterns in trees or branches.
- Staff reserves the right to remove items from trees.
- No cutting or breaking of any trees, shrubs, branches, etc.
Campfires Policy
- Open fires are permitted between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and midnight only.
- Extinguish fires with water only.
- Only kiln-dried wrapped firewood is permitted.
- NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS PERMITTED.
- Never leave a fire unattended; fires must be put out before retiring for the night.
- Fires out at midnight.
- Fires are only permitted in grills and the fire rings provided by the campground.
- Fires are considered a privilege at the campground if for any reason the staff feels your campfire is dangerous to the park, yourself, or other guests, you will be asked to put your fire out immediately and may be forbidden to have any other campfires during your stay with us.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM
Children Policy
- Children 18 years and under are on their site by 10:00 p.m., unless accompanied by an adult.
Night Security Policy
- Night security is on duty when the office is closed and may ask guests to leave the premises if not fully comply with rules during these hours.
- We have on-duty police patrols in the park.
Pets Policy
- With respect to our indigenous critters and to guests, your pet must be kept attended to and on a leash at all times.
- Barking dogs will not be tolerated. Please clean up after your pet.
- Dogs are restricted from using the designated K-9 cove for swimming.
- Upon request, you may be required to present a rabies certificate at the time of check-in.
- Dog charge-$5 per day.
- Any pet without proper vaccination paperwork must leave the park immediately.
Bicycles/Biking Policy
- Bikes may be ridden at your own risk throughout the campground with the exception of the front office.
- Please walk bikes in hill areas, and in front of the office.
- Please keep speed under 5 MPH, and do not ride bicycles after dark.
- STATE LAW requires anyone under 12 years old to wear a helmet, it is required for everyone to wear a helmet for their own safety.
- BIKE HELMETS ARE STRONGLY SUGGESTED!
- Because the majority of the campground is not paved, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, minibikes, dirtbikes, and ATVs of any kind, are not allowed, nor any device that our staff may feel to be a danger.
Motorized Vehicles Policy
- Mini-bikes, Gas Powered Golf Carts, Go Karts, Mopeds, ATVs, and Electric Scooters are NOT allowed on Maple Park Property.
- No Exceptions.
Swimming/Boating Policy
- All swimming at the campground is at your own risk.
- There is NO lifeguard on duty.
- Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the beach.
- Beach hours are 9:00 a.m. - dusk, there is no swimming or boating after dark.
- Life preservers are required for anyone under 16 in a boat.
- No powered motorboats or jet-propelled watercraft are allowed.
- Boats and other floating devices are not allowed in the swimming area.
- Please obey all posted beach regulations.
Rubbish Disposal Policy
- Please wrap all rubbish and garbage in plastic bags and place them in dumpsters.
- Garbage is picked up daily from designated park barrels.
- Absolutely no throwing garbage/food in wooded areas or fire rings.
- Please do not remove or move any park-owned rubbish barrels.
Comfort Stations Policy'
- There are 3 comfort stations located throughout the campground.
- A parent must accompany children under 6 years of age to the comfort station.
- Dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and clothing are not allowed to be washed in the comfort station facilities.
- Please do not travel through campsites on way to washrooms or other areas of the park.
Generators Policy
- We do not allow generators of any type at Maple Park Campground.
RV Holding Tanks Policy
- The use of chemical additives in RV holding tanks is prohibited at Maple Park and "stabilized waste" shall not be discharged to any on-site sewage disposal system at the property.
Campground Animals & Critters Policy
- Please do not feed any of the animals in the campground.
Alcoholic Beverages & Smoking Policy
- All alcoholic beverages must be consumed at the campsite.
- No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the beach or carried around the park.
- NO DRINKING AND DRIVING TOLERATED (including golf carts).
- Abusive drinkers will be removed by the police.
- There is no smoking in any Park Buildings, Pavilions, or Rental Trailers.
- Please discard all cigarettes in designated smoking extinguishers.
Speed Limit
- Speed limit 5 MPH
Golf Cart Rules
- 7.5 MPH speed limit applies, drive on campground roads only.
- Only licensed drivers 21 years old or older may rent and drive a golf cart.
- Anyone who plans to drive a rented golf cart must show a license at the office.
- $300 damage deposit CC/Cash.
- No drinking and driving
- Maximum 4 persons per cart.
- Seated riders only, no standing.
- Golf carts can be picked up between the hours of 2 pm and 7 pm and must be returned by 11 am on the last day of golf cart reservation.
- There will be a $25 late fee per hour.
- The renter is responsible for charging the cart overnight for following daily use.
- All carts are to be returned to the garage beneath the Cranberry Lodge for maintenance, charging, and cleaning.
- Any misuse or policy violation will result in immediate rental termination.
- Extensions: based on availability must be done before 10 am and at the Office.
Cancellation Policy
MODERATE
If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
