Nestled in a natural setting, our campground offers direct access to two fantastic hiking trails: the 2-mile round trip Mirror Lake trail and the more challenging 4-mile Crystal Lake trail. For those who love ATV riding or motorcycling, get ready to explore hundreds of miles of primitive roads that cater to all skill levels. Alongside Latour Creek, the campground is a hotspot for water activities, making it an excellent choice for family reunions or large group gatherings. Cyclists, you're in for a treat with the nearby Coeur d'Alenes Bike Trail. This 72-mile paved path stretches from Mullan to Plummer, Idaho, and includes the famous Hiawatha Trail, renowned for its breathtaking views and exciting tunnels. Anglers will find plenty of fishing spots along Latour Creek, the Coeur d'Alene River, or even Crystal Lake, accessible via a hike. At Lost Moose Campground, we offer a diverse range of activities that cater to every adventurer's dream, all set against the stunning backdrop of North Idaho's natural beauty.

Rules

Checkin Procedure - Arrival Times: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Checkout Time: 2:00 PM. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. The following rules are intended to provide an enjoyable family camping experience for you and your neighbors. Parents are expected to inform their children of these rules and are responsible for their supervision. Violation of these rules could mean early departure without a refund. Initial Deposit - At the time of booking, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. - Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Children Policy -Children are welcome with an accompanying adult Credit Card Security -Your credit card information is stored and processed securely. REGISTRATION - All campers, visitors, guests, and pets must be registered at the office. - If the office is closed, please register at the self-pay station. - Registered campers are responsible for ensuring their visitors have properly checked in and that all campground rules are followed. CAMPING EQUIPMENT - We allow only one RV and no more than two camping units per site. - For example, you may have an RV and tent on a site, a pop-up, and a tent, or two tents maximum per site. GUESTS Policy - Facilities are for use by registered guests only. - Site registration includes 5 people, additional guests may be registered for an additional fee of $2/guest per night (maximum of 4 adults per site). ATVs / MOTORCYCLES - Please limit ATV and Motorcycle use for travel in and out of the campground. PARKING - Registered guests must park within their assigned sites. - Additional parking is available if needed. QUIET HOURS - 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. - The quality of rest and relaxation is important to all campers, so please refrain from loud noises and disturbances during this period. PETS Policy - Pets are welcome - We are a pet-friendly campground, but owners will be totally responsible for their pets at all times. - Pets must be on a leash when not inside your RV. - All pet litter must be cleaned up immediately. CAMPFIRES - All fires must be contained inside the fire rings located on each site. - Campfires must be kept knee-high or below and not left unattended. - Fire rings must not be used to dispose of cans, bottles, etc. - Fire rings are not to be moved without prior approval. - All fires must be extinguished before leaving. FIREWOOD/TREES - Firewood is sold in the store. - No cutting of trees is allowed in the campground or adjoining properties. - You are welcome to pick up any wood laying on the ground. - Please do not drive nails into or disfigure trees. HUNTING/FIREARMS - No shooting or hunting on the property. FIREWORKS - Fireworks are not allowed at any time. SWIMMING - There is no lifeguard on duty and the creek water moves very swiftly. - Please use caution, all swimming is at your own risk. GARBAGE - Please bag your garbage and place it in the containers provided. - Only household-generated garbage should be placed in the containers. - Broken furniture, grills, rugs, etc. are not considered household trash and should be taken with you. - We take pride in the cleanliness of our campground. - Please do not litter. This includes cigarette butts!

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
