Nice overnight, or even a few days when in the area. Easy access, fairly large sites, next to the river. Other than a pavilion, and two 'johnny-on-the-spots', there is nothing here, no one to check you in. Nice little campground that sits along the Kaskaskia River. The city of New Athens recently took over operations of this place, so any questions are handled by city employees. Rules

Check-in Procedure - Check-In: 12 noon - 6 pm - Check-Out: 11 am - Reservations are required - Go directly to your selected campsite; all sites are numbered. - Contact information is posted at the entry to the campgrounds. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Firearm Policy - The use or discharge of firearms Biking Policy - Bicycle riding after dark is not permitted. Vehicle Policy - Washing RVs and vehicles is not permitted. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. - No generators may be used during this time. - Excessive noise at any time will not be tolerated. - Please respect your neighbors. - Non-compliance will result in removal from the campgrounds. Air Conditioner Policy - A/C units must be turned off when the camping unit is unoccupied, or a $5.00 fine will be assessed Trash and Recycling Policy - Place all trash in the dumpsters provided. - Do not place fish parts or animal remains in the dumpster. - A recycling bin is located next to the dumpster. - Disposal of fish parts or animal remains in a dumpster. Park Disclaimer - Village of New Athens RV Park is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property. - Personal property stored outs is not permitted - Violating the following rules can result in immediate removal from the campground without a refund. - Parents are expected to inform their children of campground rules and ensure they are followed. Pet Policy - All pets must be on a leash at all times. - Pets must be cleaned up after. - Owners are responsible for ensuring that their animals do not cause a nuisance to other campers. Fire Policy - Fires are only permitted in designated fire rings and must not be unattended. - Fire rings must not be moved or used to dispose of cans, bottles, or other trash. - Fires must be extinguished before retiring for the night. - Bring your firewood; cutting trees and branches is not permitted. - Fireworks are not permitted - Burning trash in fire rings is not permitted Visitors Policy - All visitors must leave the campground by 10:00 pm. - Visitor parking passes expire at 10:00 pm on the day they are issued. - Visitors shall not park the vehicle on any campsite when the maximum limit has been met. Parking Policy - All vehicles (campers and visitors) must display a parking pass. - No parking on grass - All motorized vehicles used within the campground must be licensed and operated by a licensed driver. - Tent campsite may have: (No more than two standard cars, or No more than two motorcycles, or No more than one standard car, van, or pick-up and two motorcycles) - Trailer campsite may have (in addition to camp shelter): No more than two standard vehicles, such as cars, vans, or pick-ups, or No more than one standard vehicle, such as a car, van, or pick-up, and two motorcycles. - Overflow parking is provided just outside the campgrounds. - No vehicles or parking on the levee. Site Policy - All campers must be over the age of 18 to register. - Campers are to use numbered campsites only. - No more than eight persons per campsite. - Only one camping unit per site / one tent per site permitted.

Cancellation Policy

RVSHARE & SPOT2NITE ECLIPSE PACKAGE Renter is entitled to a full refund of monies paid, less the RVShare Service Fee, for all cancellations made at least thirty (30) days prior to the rental start date. If a cancellation is made within the thirty (30)-day window immediately prior to the rental start date, the booking is non-refundable. Campground Cancellation Policy - 100% refund until three days before check-in. - 50% percent refund one day prior, then the reservation is non-refundable. - Note: All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable. RoverPass Cancellation Policy - The platform and processing fees are non-refundable. - All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. - Please contact Spot2Nite to cancel a reservation via email to [email protected] or call (877)778-2683, Option 1. - Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
