Cancellation Policy

Campground Cancellation Policy - 100% refund until 7 days prior to check-in. 50% percent refund 3 days prior, then 2 days prior the reservation is no longer refundable. - All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable. A Word About Cancellations - Cancellation policies are a “necessary evil” for RV Parks owing to the nature of the tourist industry and the recent trend in RV Park full-time living by retirees. - Cancellations can cost park owners thousands of dollars in lost revenue. - Last year, reports nationwide showed that the demand for campsites was greater than availability. - Thus, campers took to their computers to reserve camping spots well in advance (sometimes as far as a year) to make sure that they were able to find an open reservation. - However, when a site is reserved, it “takes it off of the rental market” along with its anticipated income for the park owner/s. - By the time a camper cancels the reservation (often only a few days before check-in), the opportunity to “re-sell” the canceled site is all but gone, and with it, the anticipated income. - This dynamic is why park owners must be diligent about structuring a cancellation policy that is fair for both parties—park owners and their guests. Cancellations For Nightly Stays - Must be canceled at least 7 days in advance for a full refund (minus a $25 cancellation fee), cancellations 3-6 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund, less than 72 hours, no refund.
