Registration and Arrival
Check-In Procedure
- Check-in for all campsites and rental units is between 1 pm and 10 pm.
- Check out for all campsites and rentals is at NOON.
- You must vacate your site and check out with the office by NOON; amenities are not available after check out.
- As park amenities and services expire at noon on your departing date, all persons and camping units must vacate both the site and the park by noon.
- You must be 18 years or older to rent a campsite or rental in the park.
- While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement.
Tents
- If you wish to put up a tent on your campsite for registered guests, it must follow State requirements as follows: 5’ from the
main camping unit; 15’ from the sides of neighboring units; 10’ from the end of an adjacent unit; and, 10’ from park roadway.
- There is only one tent permitted per site and should be no larger than 5' x 7'.
- Please register the tent at the time of check-in for an additional $25 fee and obtain a tag to clearly display on the tent.
Trees and Grass Policy
- We ask that you help us protect the park’s trees and grass.
- Carpeting destroys the grass for future campers, so please be courteous of others and refrain from using rugs or mats.
Clotheslines
- Please do not tie clotheslines to the trees or put carpet down on the grass.
- For safety, clotheslines in general should be taken down when not in use.
Campsite
- Each campsite is provided with 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring.
- Camping is a great outdoor experience; therefore, we do not offer refunds due to the discomforts of nature, illness, or work schedule.
- This includes no-shows or unused camping nights.
- If you wish to put up a tent on your campsite for registered guests, it must follow State requirements as follows: 5’ from the main camping unit; 15’ from the sides of neighboring units; 10’ from the end of an adjacent unit; and, 10’ from park roadways.
Fire Policy
- Stop by the store to purchase firewood by the bundle or tractor load.
- Campfires are permitted only in the fire rings and should never be left unattended.
- Please do not move fire rings or burn trash in them.
Trash Policy
- Trash must be bagged and taken to the receptacles located throughout the park.
- The discharge of gray and/or black water onto the ground is not permitted.
- It must be collected in a portable waste tank and emptied at the various dump stations located throughout the park.
- Dishwashing is not permitted at on-site water hookups or in any restroom/shower building.
- Please do not use restroom toilets or sinks to empty dishwashing water or discarded food.
Car Parking
- Each site permits room one vehicle, but overflow parking areas are available throughout the park.
- Some parking is available for restroom buildings, shower buildings, pool areas, and store/gift shops.
- Walking or bicycles are preferred; golf carts are not permitted.
Electric Vehicles
- Electric pedestals in the park were designed to support non-continuous electrical loads associated with typical RV usage – NOT to support a continuous load required to charge an EV plus typical RV usage.
- Depending on park load, temperature, etc., we may require you to alternate between providing power to your RV and EV in order to mitigate damage to the park’s electrical system.
- The base rate for your site does not include the use of electric vehicles.
- EVs that are observed on-site but not registered to the site as such will be assessed an additional $25/day and billed to your account.
- Properly registered EVs will incur an additional $15/day fee.
- EV charging for you and your guests must take place only on your site.
- We assume no responsibility for damages caused to EVs resulting from charging within the park.
Children Policy
- Cedarlane is a family park with lots of kids!
- Please teach your children to respect other campers’ sites and personal property.
- This includes not tampering with electric and water connections, and respecting campground property and equipment.
- We recommend that an adult or guardian accompany young children at all times.
- The boat lot, fish cleaning area, material caches, and other private areas are to be avoided at all times.
- The roads can get very busy, so please be sure your children respect roadways and vehicles.
- Racing, tailgating, chasing, and cutting in front of cars is dangerous and may result in an accident.
- By 11 pm, all children should be with their parent or guardian or at their site.
- We have scheduled activities every weekend from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day weekend.

Speed Limit
- All vehicles, including bicycles and scooters, must abide by the 5MPH speed limit and follow the traditional rules of the road.
Pets Policy
- We reserve the right to declare any animal a nuisance and require immediate removal.
- All pets must be registered at check-in and may not be left alone anywhere on the property including in your camping unit.
- Serious injury or death may occur if pets are left alone in a camping unit during a partial or full power outage.
- Excessive or persistent barking or aggressive behavior from your pet may lead to a cancellation of your stay.
- Leashes must be used at all times; please be sure your leashes and pet restraints confine them to your site.
- Please do not use screw-type restraint holders as they may jeopardize buried utilities.
- Owners must clean up after their pets, including in the pet-walk areas which are located on your site map.
- Pets are not permitted in any Cedarlane rental unit, restroom/shower house, camp store, swimming pools, pool areas, or playground areas - this is an Ottawa County Health Department Regulation.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are 11 pm until 8 am, but courtesy hours are 24/7 and noise should be confined to your site at all times.
Security
- Security personnel is scheduled on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- For any after-hours security issues or complaints, please call security at 419-967-4132; the phone will be answered when security is on duty.
- For emergencies, please call the Ottawa County Sheriff’s office at 419-734-4404 or 911.
- For the privacy and safety of other guests, the use of drones is strictly prohibited.
- We will not permit any visitors to enter the park as your guests without your consent.

- Remember to turn in your gate card as you are leaving the park before noon to avoid a fee.
- If you plan to leave before the store opens, turn your card in the night before during posted store hours or use the drop box under the store window.
- All pets must be registered with the office.
- We highly recommend that you do not leave your pets unattended.
- In the event of a power outage, your pet may be seriously injured if left alone inside your RV.
- Owners must clean up after their pets, including the pet-run areas.
- Leash lengths must confine the pet to your site (restraints such as invisible fences and in-ground stakes are not permitted as they can damage buried utilities).
- The Health Department prohibits pets in all pool/playground areas and in all public buildings.
- If this procedure is not followed, the card will be deactivated at noon and you’ll be charged for the card.
Account Billing
- Any balances on reservation invoices are to be paid in full one week before your arrival.
- Once you’re here, we offer a charge-on-account service for guests who link a credit card to their account.
- Purchases during your stay will go onto your invoice and will be automatically charged to your credit card the day you depart.
- You will be emailed a detailed invoice as well as a receipt.

Campground Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations with at least 7 days advance notice will be charged a fee of $10/site or $30/rental unit.
- Cancellations with less than 7 days' notice or no-shows are not entitled to refund.
- Cancellations of reservations including any of the dates from 4/5/2024 - 4/8/2024 are not entitled to refund; this supersedes the standard 7-day advance cancellation policy.
- All Spot2Nite reservations require payment in full at the time of booking.

- Spot2Nite convenience fees and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
