Welcome to Cedar Canyon Retreat, ideally situated just 5 miles up the canyon from the charming town of Cedar City, Utah. Our retreat rests along Highway 14, a picturesque Scenic Byway that meanders through Cedar Canyon, offering glimpses of Southern Utah's rich geologic history. This route ascends to 9,000 feet, leading you to remarkable destinations like Cedar Breaks National Monument, Brian Head Ski Resort, Navajo Lake, the Duck Creek recreational area, Kolob Canyons, and Three Peaks Recreation Area. Highway 14 also seamlessly connects with US Highway 89, providing convenient access to the renowned Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, ensuring your adventure possibilities are endless. Steeped in history, our property was home to a family that operated a wheelwright shop and blacksmith operation dating back to the 1980s. The vintage log structures were once bustling with the craftsmanship needed to build and restore pioneer wagons, and the log house holds treasured family memories. For those seeking a cozy retreat, we offer a selection of cabins to add a layer of comfort to your Cedar Canyon experience. Rules

Lodging Policies -While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Arrival Times -3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Deposits & Payments -A 100 percent deposit is collected at the time of purchase -Payment for retail items and gift certificates is collected at the time of purchase Children & Pets -Children are welcome with an accompanying adult -Pets are welcome -Pets are allowed in the RV park and campground, but not in the cabin. The cabin has a fenced yard in which pets can stay. Credit Card Security -Your credit card information is stored and processed securely. Click here for more information about credit card security. -We want every guest to have a wonderful stay and do our best to accommodate everyone. The following policies will facilitate all guests having an enjoyable and safe experience at Cedar Canyon Retreat. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guests that violate any of these rules. If you have any problems please talk to us at the office. CABIN, RV & TENT POLICIES: -Quiet time is between 10 pm and 8 am. TV, music, talking, laughter, etc. should not be heard appreciably at neighboring sites. -Do not move tables, campfire rings, boulders, and so on to different locations without the permission of the management. If you do need to move something, please put it back before you leave. -Campfires are to be kept small and must be completely extinguished by midnight. Do not gather wood from the forest or break branches off of trees. We may ban campfires at any time due to the high danger of wildfires; in such situations, charcoal and propane fires are allowed. -Alcohol must be confined to your cabin or site, and drinking must not lead to behavior that is a nuisance to other guests. -No smoking in any buildings or in community areas. Please be considerate of where you smoke outdoors as to not bother others or cause fires. Drugs that are illegal in Utah are not allowed on the property, even inside your unit. -Because we have many pedestrians and playing children, a five-mile-per-hour speed limit is required in the park, and ATV or motorcycle riding is not allowed. Please drive with extra care. -No discharge of fireworks or firearms allowed on our property. Firearms must be securely stored. -Guests are expected to leave their cabin or site in the same general condition they found it, and maybe charged for significant damages. Please deposit your garbage in the dumpster. Do not leave trash in your fire pit. -Guests should be courteous to other guests. If you have an issue with another guest that cannot be resolved easily, please see the management. -Checkout time is 11 am. please do your best to vacate your site by then. Guests are expected to leave their cabin or site in the same general condition they found it, and may be charged for significant damages. Please deposit your garbage in the dumpster. Do not leave trash in your fire pit. CABIN ONLY: -The earliest check-in time is 3:00 pm. -Pets are not allowed in the house to save on cleaning costs, but there is a fenced yard and a room in the neighboring building in which they can stay. -The property is not certified ADA-compliant, but most of the main floor, including the studio suite, the living room, dining room, and kitchen should be accessible to wheelchairs. RV & TENT SITES ONLY: -The earliest check-in time is 1:00 pm. In consideration of your fellow campers do your best to arrive early enough to set up before 10 pm (quiet time). -Each tent and RV site has a parking space for a single vehicle. Vehicles cannot be parked along roads. Additional vehicles may be parked in our overflow lot for a fee. -Sewer hoses MUST have a collar and do not flush paper towels, feminine products, or rubber gloves. -Pets are allowed in the park if they are kept quiet and on a leash. Any waste must be cleaned up completely. -Generators may not be used in the park, except in the unlikely event of a power outage. -Most tent sites do not have electricity; if electricity is required for medical reasons, please let the office know of your condition and we will try to accommodate you. -We attempt to honor all site requests but may need to change your site number to accommodate a special need. We only guarantee site type.

Cancellation Policy

FLEXIBLE If the guest cancels at least 3 days before their check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 3 days before check-in, there will be no refund.
