Just a stone's throw from the lively town of Ruidoso, with its great dining, shopping, and nightlife, and near the serene Bonito Lake, we're ideally situated for exploring the stunning natural beauty of New Mexico. Here at Bonito Hollow, you can cast a line in the river, wander along nature trails, or spot the abundant wildlife, all to the backdrop of the gently flowing Rio Bonito. Owners Marshall and Christina Thompson, together with their team, are dedicated to making your stay memorable and enjoyable, whether you're here for a quick stopover or a longer camping holiday. We're more than just a campground; we're a place where individuals and families alike can escape the everyday and fully experience the natural wonders of New Mexico. Rules

Checkin Procedure - Check-in: 01:00 PM. - Checkout: 12:00 PM. - No check-ins after 9:00 PM. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. General Policy - No More than 8 people in an RV site. - NO TENTS in RV sites and No More than 6 people in a Tent site including visitors. - One car per site, maximum of two cars. - No Building Materials. - Treat others respectfully-act to them as you would like others to act toward your parents, grandparents, and children. - Should you get caught vandalizing any of our facilities you and your party will be told to leave immediately and will not be allowed back in our park for any reason. - Bonito Hollow RV Park is a privately owned property. - We reserve the right to select clientele and guests. - We also reserve the right to evict, without prior notice, anyone who is in violation of our guidelines. - We will not be responsible for accident, injury, or loss of property of any kind. Children Policy - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. - Children aged 9 and under stay free. Pet Policy - Four-legged friends are always welcome. We have even had some feathered friends. - Conveniently located doggy stations can be found in the park, equipped with disposal bags to help ensure that all pets are picked up after. - Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. - Dogs in the dog park must be accompanied by an adult at all times. - They must never be left unattended and should not be disruptive. - Be considerate of others. Ensure your dog’s interaction is welcome. - Please follow all rules posted when using the pet run. - Due to health regulations, pets are not permitted in our rental unit, office, or store. - Please follow the posted rules when using the Pet Run. Noise Policy - Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM - Be mindful of others' peace and quiet. Keep music and voices to a reasonable volume. - Please respect your neighbors and other campers by using walkways, rather than cutting through campsites. - Generators are not permitted. Fire Policy - Prevent Forest fires! - Campfires are permitted in fire rings and should always be attended to and properly extinguished. - Please do not move the Fire Rings. - Pre-cut and split firewood only & If you choose to bring wood from elsewhere you must take it with you when you leave, or you will be charged a $20.00 clean-up fee. - No bonfires. - No Pallets. - No State firewood. - Please do not scavage wood from the surrounding forest. Vehicle Policy - SLOW DOWN, for kid's sake! - Please observe our 5 mph speed limit throughout the park. - Please monitor your children and never leave them unattended. - No ATV's allowed in the park unless they are just traveling to the office or restroom. - They must obey the speed limit. Trash Policy - Help us keep critters away by depositing all trash in the dumpster. - Respect Nature: No littering, carving trees, destruction of landscape, etc. - Clean up after yourself in the bathhouse; nobody likes a mess there. Safety Policy - Be safe & conscientious, Always be aware of your surroundings. - Watch out for pedestrians and bicycle traffic. - You may run into someone who is unfriendly in spite of you doing your best to be respectful of your surroundings and fellow campers. - Let it slide and don’t escalate anything into a confrontation. - If necessary. Take it to the campground staff, but don't take matters into your own hands. Visitors/Day use Pass - $5.00 per car for two people, $3.00 for each additional above the age of 10 yr. Must be out by 8:00 PM. - If a visitor is staying overnight $5.00 per car and $5.00 per person per night.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
