Rules

Check-In Procedure - All guests must sign in and register at the front office. - While each park attempts to accommodate your exact spot request, the on-site manager has the ultimate decision for spot placement. Arrival Times - 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Initial Deposit - At the time of booking, 10% of the reservation balance will be collected. - Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Scheduled Deposit - 7 day(s) before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. - If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), 100% of the remaining balance will be collected. Children Policy - Children are welcome with an accompanying adult Pet Policy - Pets must weigh under 150 pounds - All pets must be registered with the front office & vaccination records must be available upon request. - All pets must wear a collar identifying the owner & phone number. - Pets are not allowed in the cabins, restrooms, showers, swimming pool area, or recreation hall. - All pets must be on a leash & supervised by their owner at all times. - Pets cannot be highly dominant or aggressive. - Campground Hours (10:00 p.m.-7:00 am) apply to all guests, including pets. - All pet owners are expected to pick up after their pets. - Guests will be fined a $45 pet fee if any pet policies are not followed. - Pets must always be on a leash and under supervision. - Owners must pick up after all pets. - Aggressive pets will be asked to leave the property. - A pet fine of $45 will be given if the rules are not followed. - Confirm a valid rabies certificate for any pets. - A copy will be provided if necessary. - The Management Team can request the pet be removed from the Colden Lakes Resort at any time if the pet policy is not followed. Credit Card Security - Your credit card information is stored and processed securely. Loss and Damages - Bear Creek Lake is not responsible for any theft, loss, or damage incurred during your stay. Illegal Activities - Bear Creek Lake is a drug-free property. - Drugs of any kind, including marijuana, are not permitted on Bear Creek Lake's private property. Weapons - Firearms, fireworks, and other weapons or explosives are not permitted on the property. Firewood - No outside firewood. Fees - A minimum $150 excessive cleaning fee may be charged for leaving any rental unreasonably dirty. - A minimum $150 bodily fluid cleanup fee may be charged for any bodily fluid left in a rental, including but not limited to vomit, fecal matter, urine, or blood. Quiet Hours - Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. - Campers who with excessive noise during quiet hours will be asked to leave the campsite after 2nd warning. Speed Limit - The speed limit on the campsite is 5 mph. - This is strictly enforced. Swimming Pool - I have reviewed and read the swimming pool policies mandated by NYS and the Cattaraugus County Health Department. - The swimming pool policies are as follows, but not limited to: Bear Creek Lake is mandated by NYS and the Cattaraugus County Health Department to provide a copy of the following pool rules to all campers. - Any violation of these rules by Bear Creek Lake campers could result in the pool being closed by the Cattaraugus County Health Department and a severe fine imposed. - We are required to notify you of these rules, to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the pool and the swimming area is maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. - If you notice any problem with the water quality or absence of water rescue equipment, please notify us at once. - When you sign and initial the site license, you agree to obey the following: - There are no lifeguards on duty – swim at your own risk - Never swim alone. - A minimum of two adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult remaining on the pool deck. - There is no substitute for adequate supervision. - Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied to the swimming facility by a parent or guardian. - Parent or guardian must remain inside the fenced pool area with children the entire time. - In case of an emergency, notify 911 immediately and notify the facility manager. - A free telephone is provided at this facility. - An emergency phone with instructions is available on the outside wall near the bathrooms. - Only use the swimming facility during posted hours of operation. - No diving into the swimming pool. - No running or jumping on the pad is permitted. - All food must be consumed outside the pool gate. - Absolutely no alcohol inside the pool gate. - A pavilion has been provided for such activities. - Swimming while intoxicated is strictly prohibited. - Do not drink alcohol and swim. - Absolutely no glass bottles, cups, or containers inside the pool gate. - All floatation devices must be attached to your person (life jacket, arm floats, etc.) - No oversized floats or innertubes are permitted inside the pool area. Waiver - I hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify, and hold harmless, bear creek lake, and all officers and employees of all liability for injuries caused by, but not limited to, the following activities: campfires, hiking, fishing, kayaking, swimming, playground equipment, wagon rides, planned events, dogs, showers, speed bumps, bicycle use, golf carts, and encounters with wildlife.

Cancellation Policy

MODERATE If the guest cancels at least 1 week before your check-in day and time, they will receive a full refund (minus Spot2Nite convenience or resort fees). If the guest cancels within the 1 week before check-in, there will be no refund.
